We remove unneeded overhead telecom wires, Satellite dishes, and TV antennae.  We not only remove those items, but all their associated wires and hardware stapled or nailed to your house.

In addition, we recycle all the wires, dishes, and TV antennae we remove.

Plus, we are the only game in town. To our knowledge, we are the only service that will remove your unneeded telecom wires. There are other services that will remove unneeded Satellite dishes, but those companies do not remove your pesky and unneeded telecommunication wires as well.

We currently offer our services in the greater Seattle area, but we can sometimes expand our service area for an extra fee. If you are outside of the area, please submit a Make an Appt form or use our contact info to inform us of your location and telecom situation.

It is easy. Simply CLICK HERE and fill out the form.  On the form will be questions about what telecom services you currently use.  Submit the form and we will email you soon with your appointment date.

Our pricing is simple.

Telecom Wire Removal: For only $295 (plus tax), we remove all unnecessary telecommunication wires and their associated service boxes and hardware from your home. 

Satellite dish & TV antenna removal: The price for satellite dish or TV antennae removal depends upon whether we will also be removing your unneeded telecom wires or not.

• $295  when we remove a Satellite dish or a TV antenna only (That is, we do not also remove your unneeded telecom wires
• $205 when we remove a Satellite dish or a TV antenna AND we also remove your unneeded telecom wires

 Also, sometimes the dish has already been removed, but all the wires remain.  In that case, we charge $145 (plus tax) to remove the Satellite dish wires from your home.

We greatly discount the cost of any additional TV antennae or Satellite dishes. For each additional dish or antenna we remove, the cost is only $125 (plus tax).

CAVEAT:

Occasionally (in 5% of jobs),  the work will require much longer than usual. In those rare incidences, there may be an additional charge. However, we’ll always let you know of any additional charges, and we will not proceed without your explicit approval.

Also, the pricing above is set for single-family homes. The cost could be higher if you have a duplex, tri-plex, or larger. The greater the number of units, the more likely it is to cost more. We will let you know the cost before doing the work.

Our window for appointments is from 9:30 to 4. On the morning of your appointment, we will send you a text with a 1 – 3 hour window of time when we will arrive at your home. We will also text you about 15 minutes before we arrive at your home. 

When our service person arrives, we ask that you be at your home for a brief Q&A with him. If possible, we would appreciate you being available during our entire visit if any further questions arise.

In our appointment form, we ask what telecom services you currently use.  Knowing this, and after some investigation of your exterior wiring, Wire Free Sky can identify all the wires that are not being used by your household.  

Simply schedule your appointment and we’ll take care of the rest.

Yes! We recycle all wires, Satellite dishes, and TV antennae so they don’t end up in landfills.

All brackets that we remove are patched with professional quality filler.

If the dish is on the side of your house or on a fascia board, we take off the brackets and use professional quality filler to fill any holes. 

For dishes on the roof, we remove the dish but keep the brackets in place to make sure your roof is still safe from the weather. 

If you need the brackets taken off the roof, we will do it for an additional $75. In that case, we will plug the holes; however, we cannot guarantee that they will be weatherproof for the long term.

We give a big discount when we remove additional satellite dishes. Each additional dish is only $125. Read more on our Services and Prices page.

If you have exterior wires or service boxes to remove that are in addition to or not associated with the telecom wires we have removed from your home, we may be able to remove them as well.   For instance, the exterior of your home may be burdened with wiring from an old alarm system or from an already removed Satellite dish. (If we remove the Satellite dish, then we also remove any of its associated wires. However, sometimes a dish has already been removed, but its associated wire remains in place.)  

Keep in mind that we do not remove live electrical wires.  

Our service person will assess the additional items you want to be removed and will let you know the additional charge at the time of your appointment. We won’t do the work unless you explicitly agree to any additional charge.

If your property is a duplex, triplex, or larger multi-family building, the price may vary. The cost will depend on factors specific to your property. In general, the greater number of units, the more likely the cost will be higher. 

No worries, though: simply fill out our “Make an Appointment” form indicating the number of units in your building, and we’ll contact you about pricing and options.

At Wire Free Sky, we know that the wires from nearby houses can be a problem for your view and property value.

There are a couple of options. You could approach your neighbors about the issue. They may be happy you told them about our services and contact us for an appointment. (Keep in mind, if neighbors are scheduled for the same day, they each get a 10% discount.)

Or, sometimes, a neighbor, like you, will offer to pay for the removal, especially if the offending wires are mostly impacting you.  In that case, let us know about the situation so we can help you get the needed permission and information from the homeowner. 

If the wires belong to a rental property, don’t worry. Some landlords are happy to pay for removal as it improves their property value. But if they’re not willing to pay, don’t stress. Again, we often have customers who pay for the wire removal at a neighbor’s house themselves. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter who the wires belong to – we’ll get rid of them for you.
