Increasingly wires are obstructing our beautiful Seattle views.
Surprisingly, most of those overhead wires are no longer in service!
Last spring, my husband and I suddenly realized that 8 of the 13 wires obstructing our views were not being used.
We removed all 8 dead wires. Instantly our home, sky, and views all vastly improved.
Most houses have 1 to 4 dead overhead wires attached to their exterior. And some houses also have 1 or even 2 excess Satellite dishes.
Our mission is to remove all those excess wires and dishes.
Make an appointment to get your unneeded wires and Satellite dishes from your home.
6 Reasons Why
1. Increases Your Property Values
Your house will look more attractive without all those ugly, black wires hanging from it.
Anything that improves the views of your home, or from your home, has a direct, positive impact on the resale value of your home. This is why it is so important to remove all those ugly wires from your home before you sell.
2. Saves Time & Money When Painting Your House
Excess wires can increase the time spent, money paid, and quality of your paint job. Overhead wires can keep painters from being able to reach portions of your house. Your painter will need to spend extra time masking and painting around wires and service boxes attached to your house. This is especially frustrating if you aren’t even using those wires!
You will save money on your painting project and get a better result when you call us to remove all of the excess cable and boxes from your house. It’s best to remove those unneeded wires before you call for a painting estimate.
3. Safer & Easier To Do Tasks
All those dead wires draped over your yard are dangerous. Maneuvering a ladder around your garden for tree pruning or home repairs is tricky enough. Add the need to avoid low-hanging wires and it can get downright dangerous. Plus, it’s very stressful since most homeowners are unsure which wires are carrying electrical current.
Low hanging wires can also impact what you can do in your yard. One of our customers was unable to set up a trampoline due to several low hanging and unneeded Internet cables.
4. Decreases Stress
Your home and your neighborhood should be a place of refuge.
There is something stressful about having all of those ugly, black wires hanging over us. It’s like a heavyweight, bearing down upon our spirit and peace of mind.
There is no reason to have 5 or 6 black cables running from your house to the street, hanging over your garden, when only 1 wire is in service.
5. Telecom Companies Don’t Remove Wires
They will install wires, but they won’t remove them. You will be told that they won’t remove wires installed by another company.
However, getting that other company to come out to remove their old wires can be a nightmare. We have heard accounts of homeowners spending over a year trying to get their old telecom company to come out and remove their wires.
6. Beautifies The Seattle Skyline – One House At A Time
Our spectacular Seattle views are gradually being choked off by an oppressive tangle of ugly, black, overhead wires.
Seattle Magazine can use photoshop to “disappear” all of the wires out of our Seattle Skyline. Unfortunately, those of us who live here cannot photoshop all the overhead wire pollution from our lives.
By letting us remove these unneeded wires, you are not only improving your views but your neighbor’s views. Over time, as we eliminate all these abandoned, ugly, black wires, Seattle’s skyline will no longer need photoshop to look beautiful again. Our beautiful city will look young again.

Well Worth The Money!
I received a card on my porch from Wire Free Sky. I was intrigued and looked at their website. The website was very easy to navigate and user friendly. I scheduled an appointment and they came out within a couple of days. They removed a bunch of wires from my house that were not needed anymore. They were kind, courteous, knew what they were doing, and completed the job quickly. I would definitely recommend them if you have wires that you would like removed. The price of $150 seemed very fair, well worth the money!
We Love Your Work.
Shout out to WireFreeSky and cleaning up old, unused cable/phone wire.
Reyn, with his business WireFreeSky, did an awesome job removing a ton of old phone and cable lines that were circling our home and blocking our view.
They removed the old phone box, all the cables, clips and screws all around the house exterior and then out to the pole on the street.
So much nicer not having those wires running around the house and blocking our view.
On time, great clean up and very professional. He lives here in the neighborhood.
So happy to have a cleaner view. Highly recommend.

The Wires Are Gone!
The wires around my house have been bugging me for a long time. I had a minor concern of making sure the services that I needed to keep – fiber optic and cable – didn’t get cut. But Reyn was on top of it and it was a non-issue. I thought it was a great idea and the cost was reasonable. The wires are gone! It’s great to have them gone and not to see them.
Thank you WireFreeSky!
Improved View By 100%
Reyn & Betsy at wirefreesky.com took down my unsightly, ancient, unused AT&T phone cables. Improved the view in my yard by 100%.
Highly Recommend This Service
We had no concerns prior to meeting the team. We were just ready to do it and had not ever had this opportunity before learning about your service.
Love having less clutter on the house and in the sky.
Fewer wires in the tree branches.
No worries that a big truck or large tree branch might take the wires down accidentally and do damage.
We would highly recommend this service.

Great service, Great people
It’s rare to find a business that hits on all cylinders- communication, flawless delivery, instant gratification. WireFreeSky proved itself in every way. For me, the most impressive part was the rapid response to any inquiry I sent. The prompt and courteous notification of scheduling and timing and the provision of helpful information to understand what to expect and when to expect it. That was followed closely by the explanations of the process at the time of delivery, and the rapid and efficient completion of the work, without disturbance of our surroundings. And the icing on the cake is that we now have much less visual obstruction from our windows, as well as less clutter in our neighborhood. I would recommend WireFreeSky to anyone with more utility wiring than they need (most of Seattle, I’m guessing).
Thanks again for your service, Mike
Boy, What A Difference It Makes!
I highly recommend WireFreeSky. It was amazing what a difference it made to have the detritus from 2 unused landlines removed. Not only did the wires in the sky come down, but lots of junk also came off the exterior of the house. Reyn was efficient, skilled, and knowledgeable. His enthusiasm for his work is infectious. It is great to know what we did for our sightlines also benefits our neighbors.
Our Affordable Prices
Our prices are quite affordable.
- Only $225 to remove your excess overhead telecommunication wires
- Just $195 to remove a Satellite dish.
Have more than 1 dish to remove? We charge a mere $100 to remove each additional dish.
The cost of wire removal is the same regardless of the number of unneeded overhead wires. This means we do not need to visit your home to give a price estimate.
Included in our service is the removal of:
- Old service boxes associated with those wires
- Extraneous hooks, brackets, and hardware related to those services/wires
How Wire Accumulation Happens
Over time, your home has had various phone companies, Internet providers, and cable or Satellite TV companies attach wires and/or dishes to its exterior.
When a homeowner signs up for one of these services, the company comes out and simply attaches new wires or dish(es) to your house. They don’t remove any of the no-longer-in-use wires & dishes. This is why there are now so many wires cluttering our sky.
And more are added every day.
We at Wire Free Sky are committed to removing 1000s of miles of wire from our sky. Excess wires are a visual pollution that is sneaking up on all of us.
Our Service Makes A Great Gift Too
Consider giving this service as a gift.
Not only will your friend or neighbor benefit, but it will also be a plus for you too.
For example, when we removed the 8 wires that obstructed our views, 4 of them belonged to our neighbors. So when we removed their wires – for free – it was also a gift to ourselves.
We Look Forward To Hearing From You.
